Open Bible is actively working to develop and support our next generation of leaders as they prepare to become  pastors, missionaries, and other types of ministry workers around the world. We offer both traditional and non-traditional leadership development tracks for quality low-cost, easily accessible ministry preparation.

Movement

Movement is Open Bible Churches’ ministry to mobilize Generation Z and their leaders, to empower a new generation of leaders to lead in the local church, the marketplace, Open Bible Churches, kingdom of God, and every arena they influence.

Our vision is to EMPOWER a new generation of leaders through building Community, NETWORKING and EQUIPPING them to ENGAGE in the Cause of Christ, and ENCOURAGE them to utilize their Calling and unique gifts to reach people, influence culture, IMPLEMENT new ministries, and to lead the church.

It takes funding to develop, implement, and lead ministries to reach a generation. The way funding will be generated for Movement is simple – when individuals and churches catch a vision to reach, develop, and mobilize a new generation of leaders. 

Movement is working to identify key new generation leader prospects, to encourage, help to disciple, and develop them for leadership on behalf of God, in whatever field they may serve Him. Led by Pastor Michael Nortune, Movement is designed to guide a generation to embrace community, cause, and calling.

Schools of Ministry

Open Bible Churches is experiencing a renaissance in the training of a young generation for ministry, recapturing a model of pastor-led schools of ministry that was closely connected with our beginning. Most current education models are expensive and encourage students to acquire loans. However, accumulated debt hinders the ability of many graduates to remain ministry focused and can impede their ability to go wherever God leads. Many education models also require students to take (and pay for) classes unrelated to the student’s field of interest.

We are thankful for our official college, Inste Bible College (IGBC), but recognize we also need low-cost, pastor-led, ministry preparation. For these and other reasons Open Bible Churches has certified four schools of ministry that remain purposefully affordable, easily accessible, practical, and intentionally hands-on (Discover Ministry School, Harvest Bible College, Legacy School of Ministry, Toledo School of Ministry).

Hands on experience is crutial to ministry and The School of Global Leadership - Trinidad is a missions training school that provides a cross-cultural, hands-on, learning and living environment that will help propel students to leadership roles around the world.
