In many of the world’s poorest places like Uganda, people are forced to walk miles every day just to get water. In August of 2016 a member and usher at the Kasozi Open Bible Church in Uganda drowned in a swamp as she attempted to fetch water to clean the church. The Ugandan Open Bible National Board shared that the entire community uses this dangerous swamp as a water source because the nearest well is almost two miles away from the church. Big or small your donation will change the lives of many people in Uganda.
One well, which costs $8,500, can supply fresh water for more than a thousand people.
