Can you imagine national and regional officers playing ping pong with young, emerging leaders, and hosting them in their own homes? The Institute for Young Emerging Leaders (IYEL) is a one-week consortium that connects young leaders from around the nation with each other and with national leaders. National leaders provide young, emerging leaders with practical leadership concepts, skill development, and mentoring. Young leaders offer national leaders insights into the needs, abilities, and vision of the next generation of leaders. During this week participants are hosted in the homes of national or regional leaders, allowing participants an extended opportunity to build relationships and catch each other’s vision.
